#The name
The name Moony combines moon and money, drawing from the aspirational language of internet culture while pointing directly to its function as a digital currency. It is intentionally memetic — simple, memorable, and shareable across diverse audiences and contexts. That accessibility is grounded by a brand and protocol rooted in credible public-good infrastructure.
#The symbol
The Moony symbol is the Unicode character ⍜ U+235C · APL Functional Symbol Circle Underbar. The central form evokes a moon rising above a horizon, a direct reference to the name. The horizontal line anchors the mark; the ascending circle conveys aspiration and forward momentum.
#Icon mark
The standalone symbol, for avatars, favicons, and tight spaces. Use the variant with the strongest contrast against its background.
#Wordmark
The full moony wordmark, for headers, footers, and primary brand placements. Give it clear space and never stretch or recolor outside these variants.

The Moony name, symbol, and visual assets are available for use by anyone building on, integrating with, or referencing the protocol, including for commercial purposes. No permission, license, grant, or partnership is required. Developers, creators, merchants, and community members are free to use these assets in their own applications, content, documentation, and products, and to build businesses around them.
Use should not misrepresent the protocol or imply an affiliation, endorsement, or official status that does not exist. Factual and descriptive references remain acceptable; claims of an official or endorsed relationship do not.
Moony is a trademark of Moony Labs, LLC. The mark was secured to protect the network and its participants from misrepresentation and confusion — not to restrict legitimate use. Anyone acting in good faith is free to build, create, and transact using the Moony brand.
Moony Labs reserves the right to take appropriate action where the mark is abused or used in a way that misrepresents an official affiliation with, or endorsement by, Moony Labs or Moony, or that is otherwise likely to deceive or cause confusion.
