Branding
The visual identity of the Moony protocol — its name, symbol, marks, and color. Open for anyone building on, integrating with, or referencing Moony.
#The name
The name Moony combines moon and money, drawing from the aspirational language of internet culture while pointing directly to its function as a digital currency. It is intentionally memetic — simple, memorable, and shareable across diverse audiences and contexts. That accessibility is grounded by a brand and protocol rooted in credible public-good infrastructure.
#The symbol
The Moony symbol is the Unicode character ⍜ U+235C · APL Functional Symbol Circle Underbar. The central form evokes a moon rising above a horizon, a direct reference to the name. The horizontal line anchors the mark; the ascending circle conveys aspiration and forward momentum.
#Icon mark
The standalone symbol, for avatars, favicons, and tight spaces. Use the variant with the strongest contrast against its background.
#Wordmark
The full moony wordmark, for headers, footers, and primary brand placements. Give it clear space and never stretch or recolor outside these variants.
#Color palette
Primary gradient
The lavender-to-cream gradient is Moony's signature, used sparingly as an accent — never as a flat background for body content.
